Living in Memphis I have had people confuse my Bama "A" for Arkansas more than once.
Of course a couple of them looked like they might have a bit of a hard time spelling Arkansas but they still confused it.
I always like the old logo that's been posted.
Between the current Bama logo vs Auburn's I probably like Auburn's more.

Arkansas really only uses the Old English "A" for baseball.

On a side note, Auburn and Alabama use to use a logo that looked similar to the present day AU logo.
Here's a picture of a logo used by Bama from 1952 - 58.
The Auburn AU logo was used starting in 1966..
Bama dropped that one and started using the elephant through the A in 1959. This is the one that I still like.
