Strange's reelection bid going down the drain
It's obvious he was there to capitalize on what he thought would be a good ending.
Now he looks like a complete fool. Had no idea why he was giving the pressers in the first place.

hell yeah, it was looking good for him for awhile. he's got a lot of egg on his face today. i bet he went down to the alley and got shitfaced after he left the scene last night

It looked to me like he just walked up and started going at it. I don't think anyone made him the official spokesperson. I doubt Auburn PD did.

Have you guys ever heard of a police standoff where the police are standing off to...no one?

Yep, now they're going to have to explain the "coughing" they heard and the "thermal imaging" they saw at the next presser. I bet the mayor won't be there.

If it comes out that the owner/renter of the house is connected to Desmonte, I hope they through the book at her.

He looked a little wild-eyed at times in the pressers. I'm thinking he went over to Woodmere Tavern to let off some steam when he left the scene at 2 am.

Ridgeside Subdivision in East Montgomery. A quick look on Google Maps puts it near Vaughn Road.

Definitely not defending law enforcement..but I've watched several of those US Marshals shows on A&E and I've seen several times where they would think a suspect was in a building...."wait em out" for hours only to go in and nobody be there.

If they had good reason to believe he was in the attic and possibly armed and dangerous, then I can understand waiting him out.

I understand the "why"...but it still makes me chuckle.

Agreed. Just pointing out it's not uncommon for police to wait out suspects to later find out the suspect was never there.
