Auburn recruiting, circling the drain?

They've lost 4 top recruits and now have 6 whole commits and are ranked 89th in the nation below those bastions of football greatness, Sacramento St, Idaho and Miami Ohio.
Don't shoot the messenger, just wanted the Auburn fans on this forum to offer up some 411 as to why this is happening, if you have any?
Will things improve between now and signing day?

They'll finish in the top 25, but still well below the top 10 class they've been predicting. Despite this Auburn fans will still clamor about all of their wealthy alumni and supposed massive NIL chest. They will then ride a Birmingham Bowl victory into the off-season claiming "next season is finally our year".

Well, since you brought it up, there are rumors running rampant that this is all happening because boosters are withholding money because they don't like Freeze and its hurting the NIL effort. I was waiting on someone to throw this out there....

Some schools are acting like the new rules don’t matter and they can still give big contracts. Reality will sit in come November and we’ll see where everyone stands.
