you can come and sit up in the "depressed box" it's like a ghost town now that all the papers are dying (no pun intended)

I just got a call from the athletic department asking why I haven't bought any tickets yet
no shite. i have a problem with believing they call people to sell tickets. did they call you at home? at work? like....."hello, mr. CPA, we in the atletic dept. depend on folks like you to fill up the stadium and keep our jobs. a historical review of your ticket purchases is disturbing. what if we, like throw in a case of diapers and some kiddie butt wipes? maybe a toy or something. please buy some tickets mr. cpa. we need you. the family needs you".
is that how it came down?

we need to reform the tax code to something reasonable that does not require CPAs to navigate, or the IRS. goddamn leeches

LSU does this (maybe not for football). I had basketball season tickets like 7 years ago and they call me every year asking me if I want tickets. Once you're I'm the system they want your $.

We are always hurting for ticket sales. We have about 45,000 loyal fans.. Need about 10,000 more. Stadium holds 62ish.
It sucks, but it is what it is.
That's a fact. Someone posted on Bama forum two years ago that OleMs tics went on sale and I bought a couple. Still get the e-mails for ticket offers. Same with Clemson, bought baseball regional playoff tickets and now get football e-mails.

Lose to state this weekend and those $450 season tickets will be buy one, get one free.
You can purchase season tickets to SEC football games for only $450?
Not a flame, serious question.

Not quite $65/ticket for seven games. One seat, sounds about right. That does not include the booster club premium paid in order to purchase. Sounds like someone not willing to give up their right to buy, just not going to any games this year. My opinion.

You guys should be having your highest demand for tickets ever, you just won the National title two years ago. Last year was a rebuilding year but not a bad year for you guys. What's going on?

I am not sure "hurting" is the correct word... We do have less than 1,500 tickets unsold which at $450 is $675,000, plus you then sell them expensive concessions, etc.

I bought a GT 3 game package once about 6 years ago, because it included the UGA game. They call still, offering free hot dogs and cokes.
