That's probably true. Auburn definitely improved their tackling, but beating a weak Ball State team in what was basically a scrimmage designed to work on the short passing game proves little. We'll get a better idea of what we've got in Norman.

AU fans might be the only fanbase in the country who can have 4 straight losing seasons and then think “they are back” after beating a B12 team with a coach on the hot seat and…checks notes…Ball St. lololol
Can anyone imagine Arky, Miss St, or Vandy acting like this after 4 straight losing seasons other than just joking around? (I’d ask about Big 6, but has any of the Big 6 had 4 straight losing seasons in the past 50 years?)
