Apparently, Sullen is hurt right now and Eric Mack is nowhere to be seen at practice. Is he possibly still recovering from the gunshot wound?

Yea, he is still recovering. I'm sure he has some deep muscle tissue injuries.

Well, knowing Sullen and Mack are still injured, I'd think that gives Slade and Westerman an advantage at the guard spots.

Yup, though I still think slade plays tackle. He is just too athletic IMO to get stuck at guard.
