They are serious

Informed sources tell AuburnUndercover.com that former Auburn quarterback Zeke Pike will transfer to Louisville. Although Louisville's players have reported, Pike is not expected on campus until next week.

Pike will not play quarterback for the Cardinals. Instead, he will line up at tight end.

Pike will also have to sit a year since he enrolled in and attended classes at Auburn. He will not be eligible to play until 2013.

I'm interested to see what this kid can do. Looks the part and apparently has a mean streak when playing.

Aubies this is odd, but I'd like some support from some of you on this.

I'm talking to an Auburn fan and he thinks Eguae could move to DT for you guys and you can start Ford opposite Lemonier.

I don't think Eguae would be as effective on the inside, but he thinks he would. What say you?

No, Eguae will stay at DE. I think he still starts. Some think Ford will take his spot.

I figured you guys would use Ford like LSU used Mingo last year.

Justin Hokanson ?@JHokanson

Sounds like Clemson WR Sammy Watkins will be suspended the first two games of the 2012 season

Hope it's true

No way he moves to DT. Ford might beat him out, then he deserves to be 2nd string. To be honest Eguae is not that great.

I could see the coaches playing Eguae 1st and 2nd down, and using Ford as a pass rusher on 3rd. I don't see Ford locking up the starting spot yet, and even if he does I doubt Eguae moves inside.

@JHokanson: Secondary coach Willie Martinez said Jermaine Whitehead focusing on safety. Chris Davis, T-Bell, Jonathon Mincy getting the nickel work.
So...

Starters are Florence and Whitehead, with Smith and McNeal backing them up. Me like.

Sounds very possible.

I think Davis will take one CB spot.

I'd love to have Therezie and Davis start at corner, and Whitehead and Florence start at safety.

That would be pretty sweet. Then have Mincy as the first nickel.

I do like McNeal though. His run support is fantastic.

As long as Wrong Angle McNeal is not starting, that all is well.

Florence, Whitehead, and Therezie in the secondary for the next 3 season would be great.
