It’ll be either Chris Kiffin or DJ Durkin. Kiffin just wrapped up his season with the Texans and the Auburn administration apparently wants to vet Durkin more if Hugh wants him.

Yes I see that but I thought it was a done deal? It was announced a few days ago that a deal is getting close to be done. Then it is dragging on and on. Almost all site saying the same thing.

A&M not letting Durkin go is a hang up. They want to enforce his buyout. Right now he’s still employed at his DC salary as an analyst for them.

I don’t ever remember seeing anyone say it was a done deal. I could have missed it but I don’t know if anyone saying it.

auburn trying hard to hold the Freeze train together. It is already showing cracks. He is running the same HS offense Malzahn ran. That fad went out 10 years ago.

It’d be a great hire if true but I tend to doubt this. Chris’ last go round with Freeze didn’t end to well and he came to ole miss for a week last year I believe before saying frick this and going back to the nfl. I don’t think he wants the headache of dealing with entitled teenagers.
