He was an assistant athletic director at Ole Miss, so I am pretty sure he has had heard of Auburn. The fact that he doesn't know everything about it is fine with me. I didn't want another Jay Jacobs. A clown who was only hired because of his connection to Auburn

Still better than saying Bama in a formal press conference. Does UK Administrators say Tuky ? How about UF call the school Flo ? You do not hear another school shorten the name of it school as a term of endearment. Even UNC uses the entire word Carolina. Saying Bama sounds like some redneck who is too lazy to say the entire word. Maybe it is appropriate for the school.
