Best 4 loss team ever, yeah yeah, whatever.

Anyway just saw at article that had some interesting stats in it.

9th season in a row with a thousand yard rusher. An SEC record. 18th season with a 1000 yard rusher, most in the SEC with second place being 9 (LSU).

Only team in the history of football to beat the #1 team twice in the same season.

Most points scored against SEC competition in SEC history outside of several Spurrier teams at Florida. Won 5 SEC games by 20+ and scored 40+ 8 games in a row, also an AU record.

Wasn't as bad a year as it seemed with the 2 losses to end on.

Sorry I call BS on the stats. Florida in 2008 def scored more on SEC teams than Auburn.

Only because your schedule was shite.

AU vs playoff teams 2-2
UGA 0-2

Beat to hell AU team coming off Bama doesn't count. Let AU play tech and UGA play Bama and we beat UGA 49-17 instead of only 40-17)

327 Points were scored by Auburn in its eight SEC games this season. That's the most points scored in one season against league competition in SEC history for a team that didn't represent Florida. Auburn's point total is the fifth-highest in conference history. The top four outputs belong to 1995 Florida with 396 points, 1996 Florida with 376, 2008 Florida with 359 an
Correct. Forgot no spurrier in 2008.

The only teams to score more were Florida teams, including 2008.

That’s certainly understandable - how you could slip and post it here.

Impressive stat. Truly.

A little surprised it’s the first time it’s happened, though.

It was t Auburn biggest problem is y'all go to shite away from home. At home you can't be beat. I don't know why everybody isn't happy

Auburn won the iron bowl/ west
Georgia won the sec
Bama gets the nc

Everybody got a trophy.
