Bye week before Arkansas at home! Good for Auburn, you are probably really going to need it.

I now give Auburn a legit shot at beating Arkansas in an upset.

I think 7-5 or 6-6 looks about right overall

Miss State is going to beat Auburn?
Someone enlighten me on how Miss State will beat Auburn?
Auburn's OL will now have a C that has a full year in a college weight program. Defense will be without Roof, Lolley, and Thorpe.

The stupidity on this board knows no bounds. AU won 8 games last year with the lowest number of returing starters in the country. Our senior leadership on the Dline last year was a redshirt sophomore. Yet we are going to regress when we have experience coming back.

Okay, the game against MSU is a likely win, but the other 3 are likely losses. So, a 2-3 start looks like a real possibility but the schedule does get easier after that. I could see 8-4 but I'm guessing losses to Clemson, LSU, Arky, Georgia, and Bama for 7-5.

AU will beat Clemson. CU lost both OTs and an OG, and that TE. Along with losing 3 DLine both DTs and a DE. They have no idea what we will be doing on O or D. While we have a great idea what they will be doing on O (it is Gus' scheme they run). Auburn will run the ball and control the clock. And Clemson QB Boyd will not complete 72% of his passes again (career and season high.)

9-3 is more likely than 7-5, IMO.

I'm not sure the logic some people are using in this thread. Schedule gets easier, and they get their toughest competition at home or at a neutral site - with the exception of Alabama.

Better defensive coordinator.
Returning pretty much everyone.
Easier schedule.

No idea why people think MSU has a shot (they've beaten Auburn once the last decade)

No idea why people think A&M have a shot - they crap the bed every year and have an entirely new coaching staff.

No idea why people think Clemson is a sure Loss... They are the most inconsistent team in college football.

The only PROBABLE losses are to LSU, Arky, Bama, and Georgia.

I think the UGA game being played in Auburn turns that game into a toss up.

Clemson, A&M, and MSU are toss ups at worse.

Auburn's four toughest opponents are LSU, Ark, UGA, and Bama...

the week leading up to those four games is either an off week or a weak OOC opponent.

LSU -- ULM
Ark -- BYE
UGA -- NM St.
Bama -- AL A&M

It didn't do a lot of good last year -- we got killed after the Bye before UGA, but with it should help things. This season is at least spaced out well to make a run.

IMO, we're an 8-4 team... but if the OL comes along quickly, and frazier owns the starting role, we could be better... no way to know at this point.

9-3 or 10-2 depending on the UGA game

Anyone predicting 10 regular season wins gets an "I support my team like a Tiara and Toddler Mom Spirit Award".

Bundy has 5 of these awards. Not saying 10 regular season wins won't happen, but that is some serious grinding for a non-Bulldog.

Decent OL play and Auburn has a shot at Clemson, Arky, and UGA. LSU and UA unfortunately we will need miracles.
Way to much weight is being put on scores in this thread.

Attitude adjustments are needed. That is what I think BCG and SL are bringing. I never want to see Auburn playing scared again in my life. Sad to watch.

Like the way you think, we would have had a chance in both of those games this year if we would have covered the TEs or Randle, and gave the ball to Dyer instead of feeding Moseley to the wolves

These are the same tards that said we would be lucky to make it through last Oct with 1 win. We will be better at every single position with the exception of RB, have an easier schedule, a major upgrade at DC and the majority of the geniuses on the board think we will finish with a worse record.
