Agree. We will be much more competitive this year and have been beating the sorry OCC teams we were losing to last year.
I'm happy with the BB program right now. Just want to see Barbee have some success and keep us moving along and hope attendance is respectable this year.

Y'all definitely look better than last year. The bad news is you have only been competitive against 1 of the 3 decent teams you've played this year.

Yep. We are not very good. But progressing fairly well. Next year we should see a huge jump with the recruits we have coming in. I actually expect us to be a lock for the NCAA tourney next season.

We do (couple of top 100 recruits, #42 and #92 with an ESPN ranking of 95 and 92). Barbee is turning the program around. I just hope he stays.
Also, just for the sake of comparison, UF has two top 100 recruits with simliar rankings and UT has 1. The rest of the SEC not named Kentucky has zero.

We are sitting at the 28th class according to ESPN right now about even with UF. No other SEC school besides Kentucky is even in the top 35. And we have another top 100 recruit who has us on a short list. He is 1 of only a handful of unsigned top 100 recruits. Even without him, we are somewhere between 25-30. And that does not even count our 6'11 JUCO transfer that is not factored into the rankings. Not to mention we will return 4/5 starters. 64 teams make the tourney. I expect AU to be one of them next year for sure.

Yet we pulled in a top 5 class just this year - a better class than auburn will have this year - but you won't hear me spouting off about how we're a lock this year. Jordan price can ball, but he's not going to dominate as a freshman. Returning 4 starters? Exactly my point. Not necessarily a good thing. You'll be better, it could happen. Lock? Lol

Calling auburn a lock for the tourney next year is idiotic. Sure auburn is improving but so are LSU Bama and arkansas

we'll still be pretty well stocked with talent with Pollard likely coming in along with Sword. Hood and Deville Smith will still be around.

Exactly. Not slamming the recruiting class, but this team is A LOT more than Jordan Price and highlight hero Shaq Goodwin away from being a force in the sec.
