I'm hoping for very selfish reasons that the rivalry stays dormant for some time to come

AU has better chance of beating Bama this year, but really dont see either happening. Y'all may get by Arky this year though!

Just got off the phone with Les. He said Chissdick ain't man enough to beat Saban without the highest paid Qb in CFB.

I agree. Too much hype for Mettsiah and McCarron.

Is there a statue of limitations on rival fans using the g"remove the great player" routine?

I dont see ppl saying much about Tebow anymore so maybe jsut one more year of that.

Same applies with Tebow. Urban was an 8-5 coach without Tebow at UF...fact. The spread option will not work in the SEC without a once in a lifetime QB like Tebow or Cam...fact. Aubs be glad you are going back to a real offense now, even though it won't help you much this year.

I don't think 2010 Auburn was all Cam and nothing else, but I do think they clearly had a better team than LSU and Les totally outcoached Chiz to keep it as close as it was. And the other 2 years when LSU had as the better squad he skulldrug him so you'll have to excuse me if I'm pretty confident we'll handle Auburn with the team we have.

A mercy knee and an incredible performance by your punter is the only thing that made the score respectable, IMO.

And Cam going superman on one play is the only reason Auburn kept it from overtime IMO.

See how easy that game is to play? The fact of the matter is that it was a very close game and it really shouldn't have been. Les managed the game extremely well to help put us in that position.

Les had to use trick plays just to stay in the game.

Gene managed the game where we had the ball in position to score with a comfortable lead at the end of the game and coached the team to a dominating performance. See how easy that game is to play?
