Yeah but LSU has never had Ed O as the HC before so a blowout in Tiger Stadium is a very real possibility.

I was just about to say this. LSU got blown out by MSU on the road. The margin of defeat was the largest ever in a series that goes back to the 19th century. We've come to the end of the best 17 year run in the program's history. It doesn't matter what happened between 1999 and 2017. Things are different, mainly poor coaching and administration. That makes a big difference.

If LSU wins and winds up with about an 8-4 record we still probably lose our coordinators. It will not get back to elite status until Alleva and O are gone.

One of the many telling things about how badly coached this LSU team is was something that I heard Gary Danielson NOT say on one of these talk shows.

He was asked how LSU was gonna do against Auburn. He proceeded to talk about how hard the injured players played for LSU against Florida.

So when promoting the game his network is airing, he could really only say how hard the team played for their school. In the last game. That was a cripple fight.

It's gonna be ugly Saturday afternoon in Tiger Stadium and even uglier Saturday night all through Sunday over on the Rant

I think the position coaches and both coordinators are fine. I don't think it's a badly coached team at all. They just weren't giving effort and there was no leadership.

man, you really can't take an objective view of it. Aren't they one of the most penalized teams in the country?

I've said the same about other teams playing LSU over the years. I'm just afraid the OL is too banged up and young to keep Etling from being pounded.
