re: AU fans how would Frazier rank against your worst QBs over the past 20 years?

Your coaches are in a tough situation. If they pull KF they stand the chance of damaging his confidence because he'll think they don't believe/support him. Leave him in and they take the chance of another performance like Saturday. They've got to decide to either nut it out with the young QB, or fold to the fan angst and try the gimp and see what happens. Either decision is risky.
it's a lose-lose situation.

How much game experience did McCarron have before taking the Tide to the NC last year?

Mccarron had a defense with NFL players on it and a heisman RB...completely different circumstances.

We'll let you know when AU fields an elite defense and a top five pick at running back so the comparison can make sense.

Before I give up on Kiehl Frazier I have to see a touch more, and I'm old enough to remember Jason Campbell looking like a function retard for us early in his career.

Is he playing with confidence right now? If he is, I can assure you destroying it will not make an appreciable difference. If he isn't, then the point is no longer a consideration.
I think the kid attitude is pretty cool right now, at least that's what I've heard from Aub folk. He realizes where he made poor decisions, he thinks they can be fixed and he's ready to roll.
Under normal circumstances this game against ULM would be a gimme and he'd have an on-the-field opportunity to make his own personal adjustments and the coaches could work out the issues.

This is exactly right. You can't compare the two situations. AJ wasn't asked to do much of anything last year until later in the season. Frazier has been forced to play well for AU to win

Kiehl Frazier is unprecedented (with respect to Campbell). What you remember about Jason Campbell and the reality of it (pre-Borges) are two different worlds.

Never below a 60 percent passer in his college career. Never more picks than tds.
sad that we have the anchor.

Kiehl doesn't have a Caddy behind him either
Probably some pretty close to Caddy but known with the confidence from the coaches yet
Kiehl will get it figured out
