Tons of Au fans were asking for KF to get playing time to learn and for Au to take our lumps...well that is what is happening. We(inculding myself) were foolish to assume a brand new qb in a brand new system would just come out and light shite up...or even be halfway decent.
I don't think many AU folks were expecting him to light it up, but is it too much to ask for him to manage the game, make good decisions, and limit his turnovers?

Just a bammers observation - y'all commence arguing amongst yourselves.

He probably got that far down by not playing a few crap teams to stat his career as a starting QB.

Arkansas defense - weak
Clemson defense - weak
State is still State

I would also like around 200 yards passing a game to go along with the 50% pass rate for a halfway decent QB.

4 plays and two games is not enough for me even if it is more than enough for you.

to each their own.

or are you ready to play someone who was at PRom 5 months ago?

What happened to that 1-year ban bet you took with cbi8 jackass?

First...I never agreed to it. Reason being, dude had like 150 posts. I'm not going to do a ban bet with either a noob or someone that could take or leave the rant. It's my favorite board. Glad none of you that also give a shite about it took me up on it.

They "gave people chances" last year. This year they were supposed to raise expectations. You don't trot out someone who can't get the job done if they are "too young" to do it. His problems as currently situated aren't issues of youthful mistakes. They aren't even all mistakes. He is a flawed passer which the AU staff has identified and is in the process of repairing. You don't have to punish the competent by having him play QB camp during the regular season, though.

Funny coming from the fan of a team that will kill that poor kid in 9 short dayz.

John Chavis is going to feast on that AU oline/QB.

In the history of shitty AU quarterbacks, the worst by far was Kodi Burns. Jesus Christ he was horrible. That being said though, Frazier is doing his best to snatch that top spot of utter shittiness away from him.

I hate all the choices. I thought Chiz said the gimp wasn't gimpy anymore. The gimp didn't have an opportunity against average competition last year. He mostly went up against top teams.

Frazier reminds me too much of Burns.

My point is if we play the Gimp we wil still have no proven QB this time next year. This is the gimps last year.

The gimps asleep, let him sleep.

Its been two games!

Has he played poorly? Absolutely! But we're being a little premature in dubbing him the worse AU QB of all time.

Give the kid time to learn a brand new system and get over the nerves of big time college ball. If he hasn't improved by midway through the season we can revisit the topic

ILl be at the Vandy game. IF he plays well against ULM and Arky, then he should be able to play well there. If he doesnt, then I woul dbe ready for Wallace to lose his red shirt.

I will take nothing form his performance against LSU, cause that should be ugly.

Your coaches are in a tough situation. If they pull KF they stand the chance of damaging his confidence because he'll think they don't believe/support him. Leave him in and they take the chance of another performance like Saturday. They've got to decide to either nut it out with the young QB, or fold to the fan angst and try the gimp and see what happens. Either decision is risky.

Is he playing with confidence right now? If he is, I can assure you destroying it will not make an appreciable difference. If he isn't, then the point is no longer a consideration.

He stated Sunday that he identified the problem and it is fixable so I would assume he will be fairly confident Saturday.
