That's also Eli Gold. If the lower bowl is filled, like it was in the first half, that's alrady 60-65k. Another 10-15k were spread out in the other decks.

The lower bowl holds about 62,000 and it was nowhere near "filled". Several thousand empty seats.

These figures are estimated by the known capacity of each section. With no tickets being scanned, it's only a rough estimate. They're not going to squabble over a few thousand in an area that holds over 60,000.

Alabama is such a well round athletic program that the obvious answer is that many, many thousands are in Baton Rouge cheering on the baseball team.

Okay? Who is going to support a program that's in a continual downward spiral?

Lol 15k to 70k is a big difference. But its a spring game so I'm sure people are roaming around. What I don't understand is why don't they play first O against first D? I'm not sure how bama does it tbh but I think LSU does 1st O vs 2nd D and 1st D vs 2nd O. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

The crimson team was first team offense and second team defense. The white team was fist team defense and second team offense.

If my memory serves me right, Bama made it to the final game of the CWS not too long ago.

Considering the lower bowl seats just over 60k the 75,500 figure looks about right.

Alabama hasn't been to Omaha since 1999. We lost in a Super Regional final in 2006 and 2010. The end of the Wells era was erratic and fan support waned. Gaspard's first two seasons were very poor regular seasons followed by a late run to make a regional/super regional. That loses casual fans too. This year has been down right atrocious. That isn't going to get people in the seats.

Not even close. Looking at it from the side made it easier to see. Lower bowl had several thousand empty seats. North and South upperdecks were almost completely empty. East upperdeck had less than 1,000 probably.

Alabama plays ones vs. ones and twos vs. twos. it gives you a better feel for where each individual is in development
