This BS is so reminiscent of 2011. The media thinks that F$U will beat Clemson at home and they do not want Clemson and Watson left out of the CFP. So they are espousing both.
Same thing before the game in 2011. The media thought that Bama would beat LSU at home and LSU was having such a terrific season they did not want LSU left out. So prior to the game all of the rematch talk was loud and positive. After the game the rematch talk was negligible and negative. They wanted no part of Bama getting a rematch.

With that said, it's playoff or bust for LSU. I'd say an 11-1 LSU team merits inclusion into the playoffs even if they don't play for the conference title. The schedule alone (if Mizzu doesn't choke), should include 11 bowl eligible teams (Jacksonville St is FCS). At the Swamp, at Lambeau, vs Bama vs Ole Miss, and even our cupcakes are conference contenders.
