no clue but bregman has 7 errors and is fielding at a .954 clip. He has the makings of a great defensive shortstop but he's certainly not the best in college this year. You have to make the routine plays too and he's messed too many up.

I didn't really care about Bregman specifically. Just wanted to know who some of the better defenders are.

Short stop is hard. Also, until we get some advanced defensive metrics for the college game, we will continue to use one that rewards players for not getting to balls, i.e., fielding percentage.

Haven't looked at stats, but Adam Frazier is one of the smoothest SS I have seen..

no doubt.
Frazier has 7 errors too but a higher fielding % than bregman.
