You're right about that. I was thinking JFF and his dad, not Sumlin.
I really feel bad for Sumlin if this plays out poorly for JFF. Guy has worked his black arse off putting A&M back on the map against odds stacked against his favor, only to have some 20 year old punk torpedo those efforts.

Does A&M have a Team Sweep on the payroll?

Where are you? Sometimes in Destin and P'Cola its seems like i'm in Tuscaloosa.
Pensacola, I have seen some bama fans but the majority of people I work with and encounter either are FSU fans, UF fans, or don't care about football.

Sucks for any seniors on the team too. If he gets suspended, its effects the entire team, which will hurt their draft stock.

Unfortunately, we all saw what kind of dad JFF actually has due to that ESPN article.
When that ESPN article came out, it struck me as odd that they "confided" in Wright Thompson. It makes a little more sense now.
Either way, the dad clearly has no interest in teaching his son how to be prepared for being a successful adult. I think that if JFF keeps talking about being only 20 years kid, he needs to be treated like a child until he can act like an adult.

Flip side...whoever takes JFFs place does well. Not well enough to meet current expectations, but well enough to open some eyes.
Through all of this, in Sumlin I trust.

True. They seem spoiled, entitled.
They are, make no mistake.

Stupid as hell to try and blame A&M for things like this.
That was the part of the article that pissed me off the most. Made it seem like neither A&M nor Aggies cared about Manziel as a person.
Not true at all. Aggies are a family, almost to the extreme.

You know a college player is too big when they have a personal assistant. Anybody know if this is actually true?

And do you have a link that states this besides the one you already linked that shows nothing?
They mentioned that story on SportsCenter and said it didn't really add up.

Yeah, it's not the partying that the dad was referring to. It was this investigation.
Maybe?
Maybe?

See, this is the kind of shite that happens when you dont have a bagman. I always said they were not ready for the SEC.

They only did that because daddy Manziel said those things about the school in the magazine article and that they don't care about JF as a person which is untrue because like you said:

Yup. Like I've been saying all along, the Aggie offense will be filthy. I fully expected JFF to put up less spectacular numbers this year because he wouldn't have to.
