Unlike TeLeFaWx, I actually like you. You seem like a legit poster. That said, I'm going to remind you I was responding to him saying Bama was lucky A&M didn't score 50. A missed XP, a missed FG, and a forfieted opportunity to kick an XP equals 5 points. Congrats. You would have been only the 2nd team to break 30 on Bama the past 4 years. That doesn't = scoring 50 points.

quote:

First of all, because A&M was straight up punking the run game

Sold out to stop the run and did so successfully. I say somewhat b/c Bama still had a better YPC than A&M in that game. So if you punked Bama's run game what did Bama do to A&M's?

quote:

daring Bama to beat us passing

Bama had more passing yards than A&M. AJ passed for 309 yards in that game. He had just completed a long TD to Amari Cooper to pull the game to within 5 and completed a 54 yard pass to Bell to make it 1st and goal from the 6. They didn't "beat" you passing, but they certainly had success passing against you.

quote:

A&M had JUST taken all of two plays to score a touchdown on the previous possession.

negative. The previous possession prior to Bama's drive to 1st and goal was an A&M 3 and out.
In the 2nd half A&M had one long drive (16 plays), on 6 play FG drive, and one broken coverage TD (2 play) drive.

A&M played GREAT. An "arse kicking" it was not. 1/9/12 was an arse kicking. A 5 point game when the opponent has a chance to take the lead with less than 2 minutes to play is not an arse kicking. That's my point.

To be fair, I wish more A&M fans were like you.

I've been wondering why he claims being Auburn fan too. Mistake?

A LARGE number of SECr posters have other teams as their "favorite". I don't know how it started, but it seems to happen quite frequently. *shrugs*

Aggie fans were no where to be seen until they had 1 above average season.

You're not horrible. You're just trolling too much and too hard. Bama lost the game. A&M won and deserved to do so. I just completely disagree with your premise that it was an arse kicking. It wasn't. It was a great game filled with clutch plays all around. A&M came out on top. You likely think they will again this year. I don't. No big deal.

Problem with your logic here is the fact you are comparing Bamas defense and A&Ms defense as if they are on par with each other...

Not even our most delusional fans (Whiskeybent) would say we had a better or just as good defense last year as Bama.

So to flaw your theory 100yards vs Bama =/= 100yards vs A&M.

to look at it the way you are comparing would insinuate just that.

All that being said. I agree it was a great game. I never saw it as an asskicking. You will notice that most of us reference "asskicking" only after a fellow gump or a Tiger chime in with the we played too hard the week before excuse. In which case we exaggerate ourselves. We are pretty sarcastic/passive agressive fanbase that loves to speak in hyperbole when there is no reasoning with someone.

Actually a lot of us were on the rant before last season.

But we know you are a frontrunner fan that hates the thought of non-helmet teams getting their day in the sun, even though LSU was basically A&M pre-2000.

I don't view getting upset by LSU and ruining our natty hopes as above average.

I re-watched that game last Saturday on ESPNU. Nothing asswhipping about it.

Also a huge upset the Gators pulled off, but wouldn't have eliminated us from MNC contention.

Dude I just listened to it. He did mention anonymous sources but that was in reference to that being the starting point of the investigation and like I said one of the Mike's point blank asked him if what is out there right now is enough and he said NO, there needs to be some sort of proof that he was paid money

My main question is, who was paying Uncle Nate? He quit school to handle JM's PR, he organized and managed the bodyguards, the organized the signing sessions and made travel arrangements, etc. Who was paying for Uncle Nate to do all this traveling and jetting around to multiple locations? Who paid Uncle Nate?

LSU was ranked higher and was favored in the game.
