I'm guessing you believe Colin Cowheard; "Mack saw the writing on the wall, which is why he didn't recruit Johnny as a QB"

Sometimes I wish that all the major conferences would just disassociate themselves with ESPN and the NCAA. They've both become tools for their own political agenda in sports.

I don't hate A&M and have seen ESPN run lots of stories into the ground just to get hits on the site. Haters start trashing the teams in the comments and the fans defend them and before you know it there are 5000+ posts. Its the online version of PF. Its actually fun to see how they twist it to get a new story with nothing new in it.

This thread needs to be anchored. It has turned into a stupid thread of TaMu vs a few posters talking about academics, women, traditions, and 1000 other things besides what the thread was about. Anchor the thread until something comes out...even if its a fictional 4pm presser.

We get it.

6 sessions, 4400+ items signed, same pen in each signing, JSA authenticated and was paid $10,000, happened in 3 states, and TAMU-Manziel-NCAA wont comment.

5 other universities have come out and denied wrong-doing from their players autographs in the last week. TAMU has not. Done and Done

Should have known Roger dipshit Klarvin would be the first to respond. I never said that stuff was fact moron. I simply stated what we all have heard. Secondly, I am not that stupid. 5 Universities have come out and denied wrong-doing (FACT) and TAMU has not (FACT). Stop being so butthurt all the time. You represent Texas A&M VERRRY poorly.

And to the rest of TAMU posters, I am sorry that this idiot Roger Klarvin gives you all a bad name. I enjoy most of the posts on other threads from the rest of you.

per several folks interviewed on the PF show today and two have plenty of knowledge of how the ncaa works said that the likelihood of JFF playing by the Al. game was 65% chance of not playing. TAMU will be looking out for its best interest. The one lawyer who was asked by PF to give him a percentage has represented numerous athletes in dealings with the NCAA.

The attorney gave this percent and the other guy said it did not look good

Yep. The only important part of the article:

quote:

None of the sources has told "Outside the Lines" that they saw Manziel take money.

How many sources have to "say" they didn't see Manziel receiving any money before people start questioning this shite?

Out of ALL THESE PEOPLE, what are the odds that not a single one has any info about an actual cash exchange? Either there's some bullshite going on here or these are the worst investigative sources ever.

I absolutely cannot fathom how stupid some of you aTm fans are.

1. Here is this kid who signed 4400 signatures (we can prove this, the signatures are numbered and authenticated).

2. What the hell is his motivation? Did he do it out of the goodness of his heart to help make some rich autograph broker richer without any kickback for himself. Was he family with these guys that he made ~$440,000 for?

If you look at items 1 and 2 and actually think for a second you can see that the (admittedly) circumstantial evidence clearly points to him taking money.

Just man up and admit that he signed these things for cash. I will agree that tracing the cash will be tricky, and he might not miss any time because this is going to be hard to prove, but stop pretending there wasn't any cash that changed hands, to even pretend is just idiotic.

Sumlin don't roll that way. Unless A&M's internal investigation (the second one we've conducted) turns up serious evidence he'll play.

please tell me you are not this stupid..IF the NCAA is still investigating then TAMU has a lot to lose if they play JFF without him being cleared.

Those five universities aren't under NCAA INVESTIGATION you colossal fricktard. You really think the situations are similar? A&M is following legal adnice in not issuing any statement.

Apparently you are. And to think I gave you the benefit of the doubt.

He absolutely did. I've maintained that from the first second these allegations came out. I just want the NCAA to prove it before ending his season, and nothing so far allows them to.

Idiot Roger at it again. Only looking at the side of "if they can prove that he took money."

quote:

NCAA Bylaw 12.5.2.2. requires a student-athlete to make every effort to stop the sale of products featuring his or her likeness.

Going to be tough to prove this wrong. All the NCAA needs is a little bit of circumstantial evidence and this will be the reason he is punished.

wouldn't it be poetic justice if he is cleared to play by the bama game and he gets wasted friday night at a frat party and misses curfew and then gets suspended for the Bama game.
