Sbrian do you defend what Aggie fans did to this reporter though?

It's still a stupid thing to say, tbh.
The majority of longhorns I've encountered have been racist braggarts, but I know y'all all aren't that way.
Bringing that up in a discussion is cheap, IMO.
You're looking for some grand rush among Aggie fans to condemn Manziel, and that won't happen and you know it. No more than it would happen if the shoe were on the other foot.

1) When did I say I wanted some grand rush of Aggie fans to condemn Manziel? I've simply said that the majority of fans I've encountered have been delusional about the evidence present and the whole honor code thing.
2) There you go making assumptions without any proof that we would behave in a similar fashion.
3) How's it cheap when it's true?

The tenor of your posts would seem to indicate that that is what you would prefer Aggies do in order to uphold the honor code in your mind.

It's human nature to defend your own rooting interests. Y'all are human. I promise you your fanbase would react the same way. Y'all aren't THAT different from Aggies, come on now

1) That's where you are wrong. I could care less about how Aggies behave, just don't promote the honor code every two seconds. That's my point.
2) Would there be Longhorns defending someone like Manziel, sure. I guarantee though they wouldn't be so accepting of all the shenanigans he's pulled during the off season. You can't deny that there's been quite a few Aggies making excuses for his behavior. My point is the fact that there are so many more delusional Aggie fans in comparison to other fanbases. Auburn and Ohio State fans defended their players when they were under investigation, but they were never delusional to the point to think there was no evidence.

Why would you not want to promote some ideal. It is a goal to strive and work for. Sorry we aren't all gutter rats on 6th St.

You take yourself way too seriously. How old are you?

Simply responding to what all these Aggies are saying. When did I say you shouldn't promote an ideal? I said I could care less how Aggies behave. The point is don't promote an ideal, if you knowingly ignore/undermine that ideal. Is that all you have, making fun of sixth street? I also find it funny that you say I take myself to seriously and you start talking about ideals.

No.
We WILL promote the honor code every two seconds. It's an ideal that we strive for. Of course not everyone will meet it. To assume that everyone will is asinine. And obviously you DO care about how Aggies behave or we wouldn't be sitting here talking about it

There YOU go making assumptions without any proof to back it up. Y'all would be just as accepting, if not moreso, especially considering your school is less-buttoned down than the Aggie fanbase.

No, that's just what you want to be true

Yeah, you're wrong there, too, but whatever

What evidence is there again? A video that was only seen by one other man that may or may not indicate manziel had accepted cash for signatures beforehand but we will never know because Manziel was not quoted in the article and the owner of the supposed video has said that no one else will ever see it and he wont cooperate with the NCAA. Seems legit.
Oh wait can't forget Rovell's "unnamed sources" who say they overheard Manziel maybe accepting money for signatures although NO ONE to date has seen money change hands. Also let's not forget that the last time Rovell used "unnamed sources" it was an 18 year old high school senior who duped him to believing he was running a high end escort business for NBA players.
Seems to me all the haters out there are the ones delusional about the evidence.

I'm not going to bother these other SEC fans arguing with you guys. I'll just say this, wait and watch. I will be back laughing once Manziel is found to have violated NCAA rules.

That may happen but it damn sure won't be based on the "evidence" currently out there

If you don't think the video evidence, thousands of authenticated autographs, and multiple sources out there don't play a role you are crazy.

Have YOU seen the video? How the frick do you even know whats on it?? Schad did not quote Manziel hardly at all in his article. It was all "Manziel indicated that..." or "Manziel said something to the effect of..." These were his interpretations not direct quotes.
Secondly "multiple sources", more like "multiple unnamed sources who wont cooperate with the NCAA". Besides, what if some rich aggie paid 10 autograph brokers a million dollars each to say Vince Young was paid for autographs back in 2005. Doesn't mean shite unless you have some sort of paper trail

1) Why do you guys keep saying you have to have a paper trail? The NCAA is not a court of law, they can act with a lot less evidence since their burden of proof is substantially lower.
2) The 6 sources that said Uncle Nate was running an autograph business have not said they wouldn't come forward. Also one of the brokers will eventually speak to someone, just wait and watch.
3) You act like the video is this zero-sum game. The NCAA will take plenty of time investigating Manziel, and eventually that video will be released.
4) Could Schad have misinterpreted the video, sure. But based on the ESPN article he was pretty adamant about certain language such as "additional cash" and "keep quiet about this session".
5)That's why the NCAA would ask the brokers questions, to determine if they were telling the truth about Vince Young. Or they would wait for other evidence like a video, pictures, etc.
6) There has to be some type of evidence or the NCAA would not be investigating.

You and your fellow horn fans sure do seem to have a lot invested in hoping Manziel is barred from playing.
Wonder why that is?

I've said this multiple times, but I'll repeat it again. I could care less if Manziel is suspended. I actually hope he plays so Bama can knock him around. I'm simply commenting on the fact there's more evidence then you guys make out there to be.
Posted on 8/12/13 at 9:04 am to utisdabomb12
Look you're an idiot. Go to the NCAA's own website and read about the investigation process. In their own words it says they need "to find verifiable evidence" and since they have zero subpoena power and cannot compel anyone other than A&M or Manziel to act. Until these unnamed sources come forward AND have evidence to back up their claims. Nothing comes of this.

Their hate for the SEC has reached maximum level with Alabama making their asses quit and A&M bolting for a better conference and becoming a better program because of it. They have seen the writing on wall.
