Urban is done.

The smoking gun is the screen shot of the conversation between Lindsey Voltolini (wife of OSU Football Operations staff member) and and Courtney Smith.

Courtney: "[Zach's] trying to make me look crazy bc that's what Shelley is saying [he's doing]"
Lindsey: "[Urban] just said [Zach] denied everything"
Courtney: "I hope urban is smarter than that"
Lindsey: "[Urban] doesn't know what to think"
Courtney: "I don't really care. Ya know"
Lindsey: "Yeah, don't worry about urb"

Simply not doing anything is a bad look, but he could probably survived this if that were all he did.

What compounds this are two specific things.

1) Courtney Smith claims that Hiram De Fries (Urban Meyer's life coach) asked her to drop charges of aggravated battery of a pregnant victim back in 2009.
2) Urban Meyer publicly denied any knowledge of this last week.

This looks like a classic coverup.

I wonder if they will subpoena the cell phones using the open records law (I’m talking out of my butt) if the phones are paid for by OSU.

Wasn't Jim Tressel brought down at Ohio State for knowing that players were trading memorabilia for tattoos, but failing to notify anyone about it?

If Urban was in the military he might be facing a court-martial for Dereliction of Duty. Guess we'll see if Ohio State has a similar standard in punishing for failure to act in accordance with your responsibilities.

Shelley is an instructor of nursing at OSU, I don't know if she's a practicing nurse for them.

I have a question about a nurse's duty to report abuse. All the articles I've seen written say a nurse has a duty to report patient's abuse when he or she has good faith and reasonable suspicion abuse is taking place. But does that duty carry over from a professional relationship between practioner and patient to personal relationships between friends? I haven't found a clear answer.

That may be her saving grace if Courtney was not a patient of hers.

That’s still pretty bad, though, if they’re having to skirt reporting abuse on a technicality of role in that relationship.
