I have to really tip my hat to BAMA on how they sustained their level of excellence for this long of a stretch. Getting there is one thing, staying there is another. I really hope the Tigers can build on this and remain at a top competitive level. I realize Burrow & Brady completely changed the dynamic for LSU so major challenges lie ahead. The SEC West is a monster and now we get Lane Kiffin in the mix for the Rebs. This is going to be fun SEC comrades!

I agree. As cocky as some of their fans were, most were very good about handling their success. It seemed like it almost got boring to some and anything less than a National Championship was a wasted season.

Next year should be wide open and a lot of fun.

Thanks for the compliment and it is kind of impressive the last decade . I am old enough to have seen the good and the bad and appreciate what we have been doing and don’t get worked up over “bad” seasons like some of the younger guys do . LSU has a hell of a team this year. Reminds me of 2009 Bama when we had SEC Championship, Heisman, and NC in same year, plus y’all get to play it in New Orleans . Special season for y’all ... enjoy it

Have an upvote. Every now and then, in this turd infested cesspool some sunlight happens to make it in.

Truth be told....Bama is not Bama without LSU...and vice versa. Barn in the mix as well.

The West is wild. And about to get wilder.

Yeah I agree with the OP. I said when it LSU broke their long home winning streak that was like 31. Once it was broken you have to respect they piled up something like that.

I think the SEC is about to turn back into the 2003-2007 era where there are 3-4 really good teams every year that could win the league and a national title.

I'm excited to be a part of it this time instead of just a stepping stone like we were back then

Saban and Bama forced the entire conference to get better.

Some programs responded. Others did not.

Great minds think alike George. I absolutely see A1abana going back to the 2003-2007 days.
