No we wouldn't copy you guys. Our party will be at a very nice hotel, with people dressed up nice.
You guys party is probably held out in the middle of the woods, with people dressed in holly cover-alls and bluejean shorts. The people having stringy hair and missing teeth. Just like the people on Swamp People......

LSU's will be in the heart of downtown at the Baton Rouge River Center Convention Complex on the Mississippi River near the Hilton and Argosy Casino.
Over 5,000 LSU alumni/fans/recruiting fanatics will attend a one-of-a-kind event. They will come from Baton Rouge and all over the state, professionals and all types of fans and people alike.
Everyone will enjoy catered food from many of Baton Rouge and La.'s finest restaurants, a silent auction with LSU memorabilia, The Sudler-Trophy Award-winning Goooooooolden Band From Tigerland plus the stunning Golden Girls and LSU cheerleaders, several on-location radio stations broadcasting live, many concession, beer, soft drink, food, and merchandise booths.
Plus live interviews on stage with past and present LSU coaches and players, highlights and videos of new signees and recruits, and a highlight video of the 13-1 SEC Champion #2 ranked LSU Tigers.
Also Coach Les Miles will address the huge gathering at 5:30 to discuss this year's class.

Gotta give ya credit. At least you researched it. Can't hardly get Crow Pie to even do a pie chart nowadays.

Nah, I was at the bash the year Ohio State came down and observed, and I remembered this piece being written claiming they were the first. It's just a claim and doesn't mean shite, but it's the source of my thinking it all these years.
Like I said earlier, I know this is a flame thread; but since the OP brought it up, I was genuinely curious if someone else was doing it before. It isn't something worth bragging about imo.

You were close. Actually, at the time I posted that yesterday, I thought I might have sharted...wasn't sure, and the phone started ringing, all at the same time. So I really wasn't in the best frame of mind. That's just where I was when it all went down. Luckily, I was wrong. My apologies.
