Can u provide any link stating that LSU was the first school in the nation to hold such a party? Instead of just assuming, why don't you prove it.

Only Crow Pie could put this info in Charts and Graphs, this fricker can't prove shite...

I know he can't provide any solid evidence of who held the first ever recruiting party in college football.

I bet he is googling his arse off though.

Arky is having their version of the Bayou Bash this year. It is called "Signing Day in the Rock with Bobby Petrino."

It is an evening affair with a silent auction, dinner, and then a program. Sounds boring as hell.

Oh yeah...and the hook is to come see the Cotton Bowl trophy. I guess that is the biggest thing Arky has had to be excited about in a long time.

Sorry we are unable to respond until your rival application is properly reviewed. This process may take up to 6-8 weeks. We'll let ya know.

Last year, according to Hog fans, the Cotton Bowl Championship was a lower-tier, worthless endeavor. What happened to that sentiment?

Here's a quote from a Gridiron club member that claims they were the first:

quote:

"We were the first school to do this," said Ray Scimeca, former Tiger Gridiron Club board member. "Nobody thought about it because they thought it was illegal."

Source

While certainly not definitive, if there's proof that someone was doing it earlier, I would like to see it. Otherwise, I'll continue thinking it.

No we wouldn't copy you guys. Our party will be at a very nice hotel, with people dressed up nice.
You guys party is probably held out in the middle of the woods, with people dressed in holly cover-alls and bluejean shorts. The people having stringy hair and missing teeth. Just like the people on Swamp People......
