Do all of you believe Arkansas will be a unanimous #3 in the human polls tomorrow? I find it hard to believe unanimous, but I could see them being number 3.

Doesn't matter, you control your own destiny for the National Title game, you better be ready to play. No excuses.

Fine. Women's basketball tragedies keep OSU as Numero Dos.

If you excuse okie state for that, you have to excuse arknasas for missing half it's defense against bama. since no one has, nor will, than okie state can go frick itself.

I agree. I think Arky is the deserving #3 team. This is not about what team deserves to be where, but rather what the BCS will look like.

Let me reiterate, I believe Arky is the #3 team in the country up to this point. I just think it is very possible they will be #4 in the BCS.

I was referring to Tulane running to all the different threads claiming if you think Ark will be #3 that you don't understand the math involved.

I never said that. I said there's a possibility that they won't be #3. The people who I claimed don't understand the math are the ones who were mocking me for posting that, or the ones who were claiming Arkansas is a lock for the NC game with a win against LSU. Those sentiments are flat out wrong

Just a few observations about the computer rankings:

Alabama dropped from .940 to .900 losing to LSU ranked .940 in computers

Stanford dropped from .770 to .620 losing to Oregon ranked .720 in computers

Kansas St. dropped from .830 to .690 losing to Oklahoma ranked .690 in computers

Boise St. dropped from .850 to .610 losing to unranked TCU

Oklahoma dropped from .890 to .690 losing to unranked TTech

Clemson dropped from .860 to .670 in computers losing to unranked GT

Just a few observations about the computer rankings:

Not sure what your point was, but OSU was tied for 1st in the computers going into this weekend. They have been the top ranked team in the computers every week since the BCS came out this year, including weeks when Bama and Oklahoma were still undefeated. What would make ANYONE think they will not be the top ranked 1-loss team in the computers at this point?

Today was a nightmare for non-SEC fans. If you hadn't figured it out by now, SEC vs SEC for BCS title is very possible.

This is an attempt at logic, but I see that the SEC Rant is not the place for that on a Saturday night. too much Jim Beam to have a conversation other than a thread chest-bumping the rest of the SEC West for our supremacy.
