Arkansas came into the SEC from the SWC which was pretty much the Big 12 South having a 20-12 conference record for the 4 years before entering the SEC.

Missouri comes into the SEC from the Big 12 North with a similar conference record in 4 years of 22-12.

Arkansas went on to go 3-4 and 4-3 their first two seasons in the SEC. The wins in conference all came against losing teams by seasons end except for a quality win over #2 Bama in 93' and beating a 9-3 Tennessee team in 92'.

Will Mizzou make this a trend? Will they come from having a respectable record to being very average over the next few years.

Is Georgia naturally obsessed with Mizzou, or is it because they know they are their only legitimate threat to the East?

If the east had any decent teams, then probably so.

They are our next opponent and a new SEC team. Is it not reasonable to see what kind of team they are?

Ok, I'll bite. The similarities end with Mizzou beating SELA 62-10 in their first game after joining the SEC while Arkansas lost to the Citadel 3-10.

Arkansas sucked for a decade + in the SEC since they joined. Therefore, Mizzou and A&M will suck as well.

This really isn't a very good comparison. The '90 and '91 Arkansas teams were probably the worst teams we had since the mid 50's. We came in to the SEC with a talent deficiency that we hadn't seen in forty years while Missouri is in the midst of their best run ever. I fully expect Missouri to be much better in their initial years that we were back in '92 and '93.

Arkansas prior 5 years before entering SEC
1991=6-6
1990=3-8
1989=10-2
1988=10-2
1987=9-4
Total=38-22
Winning %=.633

Missouri prior 5 years before entering SEC
2011=8-5
2010=10-3
2009=8-5
2008=10-4
2007=12-2
Total=48-19
Winning %=.716

I took 5 years as it seems a fair number for where the programs were at. I think overall they are very similar the last 2 years before entrance very much favor Mizzou.

We shouldn't be penalized just because we haven't had our best season in program history in the past 5 years. Misleading stats are misleading.

If you are asking if Mizzou will beat Bama, LSU, or Arkansas in the first 2 years, the answer is NO!

Once again your ignorance shows Mizzou's best years as a program were clearly in the 60's were they won more games then any team in the nation. You seriously are #mizzousessed
