So, yeah, outside of UK, the SEC doesn't care about basketball. Well, you do have UT who cares enough to cheat at it. Vandy is hard to be sure if serious commitment to basketball.
The conference as a whole is the second worst of the BCS conferences just ahead of the Pac-10.

Next year...next year...next year
Hard to throw away an entire season before it even starts, but that is how we have to look at it. It will get our backups plus Powell and maybe Scott some experience so they can play next year.

Not acceptable for "wait until next year" coming off of back to back sub .500 seasons while going into year 4 of a coach's tenure.
You are basically telling me that Petrino was able to rebuild a football program in half the time needed to rebuild a basketball program.

That is the message, I think we can all agree that basketball can be rebuilt in half the time of football. We should have seen progress in the program long before this point.

Undefeated, woo hoo.
