I did this last year and will do this once every team’s season ends.

Summary

Arkansas fans were extremely happy to hear last season that they would be firing Bert.

The legendary Arkansas coach who had recently turned stale last season was replaced by a man named Chad.

Arkansas’s season got off to an incredible start, as they won their first game against Eastern Illinois. After being tied with preseason favorite Alabama in the SEC standings after one game, Arkansas knew they had a special season under way.

Things turned stale quickly, as Arkansas lost to the Fighting Mike Bobo’s of Colorado State.

Although this was a setback, Arkansas was still confident that they would make the CFP.

They experienced another small setback, as they were blown out by North Texas, 17-44.

It only got worse from there, with the hogs losing 4 more in addition to their previous two losses.

It was not all bad though, as Arkansas will probably win the ESPYs award for greatest moral victory of the year after scoring 31 on Alabama, the most anyone scored on them all regular season.

Arkansas did have a real victory against Tulsa, where they shut them out 23-0.

It turned out to be their last win of the season, as they finished 2-10 this year with a final embarrassing losses to Mississippi St and Missouri.

Notable Departures

La’Michael Pettway-
I had never heard of this guy, but he must not be too terrible as he led Arkansas in receptions and yards this year, totaling to 507 receiving yards and 4 Touchdowns. He’s really the only notable playmaker on offense for them that is leaving.

Armon Watts-
This guy is actually pretty cool. After only having a total of 4 total tackles his first 3 years at Arkansas. He exploded onto the scene with 49 tackles and finished 6th in the SEC with 7 sacks this year.

I don’t have a gif for him unfortunately.

The Future

The good news is it can’t get much worse for Arkansas. Chad Morris has never beaten a Power 5 team, and that is something I would guess Arkansas would like to change next year.

Either way Arkansas should be fun to watch next year.

Tennessee and Ole Miss threads on the way.

I like this, but I will not be reading the Auburn season ending thread...

All you would really need would be a screenshot of the Tenn score.

Of the things that extra aggravated me this season and made me most skeptical going forward:

The choke job in tnis game referenced below.

Another- ZERO IMPROVEMENT. I knew we wouldn’t be good, didn’t expect that so wasn’t disappointed but seeing your team in week 12 looking no better than week 2 is just infuriating to me.

Thirdly, all I wanted in the season was for it to be more fun, and figured our new offensive stud (supposedly) guy would at least make it more entertaining even if not good- nope just as shitty as with Bert.
