Letting Briles go was because he kept on looking at other jobs for more money. Pittman likes loyalty and not shopping around. A mistake to let Briles go? Maybe so but let's not act like Briles didn't call some dumb shite.
I wasn't too thrilled with the Enos hire but he's not that bad. Last time he was here the offense was pretty good. We DID run the ball well when he was here last time. 2015, Enos first year here, RB Alex Collins ran for 1500 plus yards. 2016 RB Rawleigh Williams ran for 1300 plus yards.
Our current DC is a much better recruiter than Odom was and actually calls a defense unlike 3-2-6 Odom. Also, our current DC has experience as he's been Gus' DC at UCF for a few years.

Odom was one of the higher paid coordinators in the nation and his defenses here were horrible. We were near the bottom nationally in every statistic. And he sucked at recruiting when he got off his arse to bother trying.
