ha ha ha! We get to be the team that gets 'ol gus fired. 10 point spread and an arse beating in their own house... This is gonna be a good one!!

He's not getting fired if he loses this game, although it would be terribly embarrassing.

Thank you.. We could just post Bert's SEC record, but that is way too easy.

Gus is an offensive guru who doesn't run his own team's offense.
So whose offense is Auburn running? I'm not sure you know the difference between a HC and OC...

Wait, Arkansas fans explained the 7-1 vs 0-8 2013 season by saying Gus had recruited all the players on that team. Has that story changed?
Posted on 10/21/16 at 8:43 pm to DuncanIdaho
The story changes depending on the classic Arkansas fan's empty talk narrative.. All talk. I'm convinced they don't even believe what they say or either their all bama alters..

Bret has improved coordinators and assistant coaches since he was hired. The improvement is beginning to show.
We knew he wasn't the instant, microwave coach that gus was, but we want to build for the long term.
We'll see how that plays out.To each his own.

That Robb Smith defense has gotten better thru the years, eh?

We need linebackers and are going after them. The secondary is improved.
We'll be ok in the long run.
By the way, how's Chaney working out for you?

I grew up playing basketball and didn't really appreciate football until my mid-late 20s. I honestly couldn't have named any of our assistants under Nutt. I only remember hearing Malzahn's name in relation to Mustain and I still don't know the full story behind that.
I just never paid attention to assistants or recruiting and even now I don't really follow recruiting. I just root for my team and let the ADs deal with hiring decisions.
I'm sure there were a lot of Arkansas fans upset for not getting Malzahn but I wasn't one of them. Those are the same people who melt every week and blame Long for firing Petrino. I'm more upset that Nutt squandered our best players by being ultra conservative after getting a lead.

Who? We don't have a coach named Chaney.

He was replying to joeyb (Who is sporting a Georgia logo). Is he an Auburn fan?

We'll be ok in the long run.
I also need to know about your ol coach. Seems like only yesteryear when Pittman was labeled as the best ol coach in the country by arkansas fans. Bert obviously upgraded because you posted as much.
