Rivals, Scout, 247Sports, ESPN and others tend to agree.

I thought you didn't care what scout and 247 thought earlier when you only used rivals to talk down on our recruiting class.

You seem to be talking recruiting rankings up one minute, and trying to tear them down the next. And FWIW, the same publication "re-ranked" Alabama's class #1. It was ranked #1 when they signed in 2008.

I never talked up recruiting services ever! Please re-read all my posts.

I pointed out the kid was an All-American Linebacker which we could use on Defense. We do not need any help on Offense.

Isn't that amazing!.. Lets think about this..

Rivals, scout etc.. Alabama #1
2011 results Alabama #1
Re-ranked Alabama #1

Rivals, Scout, etc.. Arkansas #18
2011 Results Arkansas #5
Re-ranked Arkansas #6

What does that tell you my friend? Simple, Lets sell those mags to a larger fan base and hype those players up with recent success/tradition of the program.

I bet if you averaged fan bases Arkansas would sit right in high teens range of the whole country.

Point proven.

Arkansas has several conference championships.

LSU and Florida have won multiple championships during that timeframe. What has Arkansas won?

When speaking of "all-time" like he was, time does not start in 1992 in Florida's case or 2000 for LSU...

Did not read thread, but what do borderline Top 25 classes every year have in common with what we've been doing since the 90s?

Don't you know, Arkansas rules everything. The Tennessee football program should bow down to everything Arkansas. They have beat us only like what? 4 times, but it's only because we got lucky every game.

From now until eternity Arkansas will always be better than Tennessee. Arkansas is just perfect.

It would have been quicker to type "NO", while being truthful in the answer.

I don't even see which publication is ranking this LB commit from New Jersey as an "All-American"

Parade Magazine is my understanding.

Rivals, Scout, 247. It doesn't really matter, if you're going to try and compare Arkansas' current plight with what Tennessee was doing from 1994-2002. UT was routinely in the Top 5 during that stretch. I've already given credit to Bobby Petrino's system of evaluation and development. But the "Tennessee Business Model" from 1994-2002, it is not. They were signing highly rated kids out of every corner of the United States. Arkansas, while going to different areas, is taking kids that fits their system and developing them within it. Two completely different approaches, but the same ultimate goal.

As I pointed out our history shows we are cycling back around to being damn good and probably going to win championships in the future.

To many people on here don't do enough research on history. I'm 30 and know a lot about programs history yet anyone born in 1989 has little knowledge because they are to damn lazy to look it up.

I realize that, but he specified a 15 year time frame in his post

Past performance does not guarantee future performance. I heard this all of the time before the '09 championship when I said Bama would be back.

In the 15 year time frame he specified. You're dodging the question.

Um, yes it does. It shows it was done in the past and someone just needs to duplicate that in modern times using modern parameters.

Recruiting, television and conference alignment changed but talent pools, location and fan support did not for traditionally strong programs (Arkansas)

The only 15 year period he referenced was when the majority of 10 win seasons occurred for a couple teams meaning they are not as good as us on a historical basis and are "new money" in this game.

Keep up.

True, but Bama won an SEC championship during our down swing, when will Arkansas win theirs?
