they are protesting because middle class and small business doesn't have advocates like the wealthy

Well then why the hell is it so friggin hard to understand that the solution is fewer taxes on small business owners and less red tape from the federal government, NOT more, draconian taxes on wealthy, successful people who pay the vast majority of taxes already???

@ blaming rich people for personal failures. It's nobodies responsibility to make you successful. The Constitution says you're guaranteed the pursuit of happiness. It doesn't guarantee you'll reach it. Folks should bust their arse a little harder and quit bitching that they don't have what someone else has.

Every corporate board room in America is delighted to hear that you've totally bought what they're selling. How did you get so naive?

No one is blaming the rich for their personal failures. They're blaming the government for not taxing the rich at a more proportional percentage. The middle class pay a largely disproportionate amount of taxes when compared to the rich.

The middle class are the ones hurting in the current economic situation. The poor get their government assistance, the rich thrive, and the middle class are left to fend for themselves.

Too many folks wanting others to take care of them and give them what they don't have. Sounds like you've bought into the welfare system.

There is no referendum on corporate personhood, just like there is no referendum on term limits.

Maybe that needs to change.

And yet, I can assure you, they are voting the same people back into office. Instead of wasting a work day, go to town halls, state legislatures.. start where it matters. If you want to fix things, get those folks to quit paying off the poor for their votes and entitlements. That is why taxes are so high to begin with, everyone is entitled to shite they haven't done anything to earn.

If you can't see there's a widening wealth gap in this country you need to do some research.
the rich aren't to blame for this. if anything, they are merely taking advantage of lazy, gullible people who are willing to give them their money. every person in america has a choice of who to give their money to. rich people did not get money out of thin air. it was given to them by others through the market. see the picture of the ows people using products and services of companies they are protesting.

ows crowd is hypocritical. they protest wall st but not celebrities and athletes.

The individuals on the Forbes list are mostly responsible for the widening wealth gap
totally false. the system is not "rigged by rich people"

Funny. You don't see how they are connected?

Why do you think every "conservative" candidate we've had in the past 20 years had no problem with illegal immigration?

McCain
Bush I & II
Romney
Perry

None of the above would touch illegal immigration.

You think that might have something to do with big companies who need/want cheap labor?

Think it through, don't just pick a side because Sean Hannity tells you to.

The tax cuts under Bush put us more in debt than the wars. You take that much money out of the purse and it hurts.
the govt does not have a revenue problem. the govt has a spending problem. it's astonishing and scary how many smart people can't see this. "taxing the rich" is only going to account for a miniscule fraction of the $17tril debt. your own chart substantiates this

Obama has not implemented that many new programs
yeah, his quack ideas keep getting shot down by his own party

The debt is rising b/c the new policies Bush implemented are still accruing debt under this administration
ok. you're one of the brainwashed people who parrot liberal talking points. i wonder why that chart fails to account for obama's govt budget.

Because due to the current way corporations are allowed to lobby and fund, corporations more or less run the government.
