Briles is notorious for his "yall watch this shite" moments several times every game. He decided to get Hornsby involved on back-to-back calls when the Hogs were moving the ball just fine.
I don't feel that Pittman's delayed timeout had any effect on Little missing the FG. Icing the kicker is something TV commentators made up years ago and is basically bullshite.

They said, “Hornsy is the fastest player on the team” so I get forcing touches. But I thought Ketron Jackson was the guy the Aggie made sure to watch for his speed.

What fanbases plasters the board with threads after a loss? There’s been 9 different Hog fans post in this thread in a little over a page. Clearly no one went anywhere.

Hornsby is the fastest guy in the team outside of maybe Satenga. Jackson is the fastest guy who sees the field regularly.

If you recall, we recruited Hornsby. We got Achane to commit. Hornsby was committed or committed to North Carolina. Then it might be the year we got King and moved on. Then I don’t recall what happened after that but Hornsby switched to Arkansas
I think the hesitation was he wanted to play QB but was wanted as a WR. But I think he’s got a high QB ceiling potential
