They decided to put the game in the hands of their defense and force Ole Miss to burn their timeouts. I understand the decision. It's just that it bit them in the arse this time. It was just last week that they put the game in the hands of their defense and their defense won the game. Win some lose some. But that's a secondary thing to what happened with the officiating, in my mind. Auburn won on a technicality. So actually, despite all the questioning of the play calls, it frickin worked. Worked enough to get the win if the game had been called fairly.
I'm not gonna fault the coaches. First year staff went on the road for the second week in a row against a top 15 team and won the damn game. The record books will show 1-1, but the coaching staff had them at 2-0.
Hard to fault the coaching staff from where I sit. I would rather see the officiating addressed. And I'm not surprised that an Alabama fan would try and tell people to simmer down. Alabama is openly corrupt.

I love the Alabama fans coming in to defend Auburn here. Why? Because they're supposedly huge enemies, and also the league offices are in Alabama. Both these teams are notorious cheats and that is well documented.

Citations please. I've only seen one instance of this happening and I'm not gonna link it. I'd like you to find it instead.
What has actually been happening is that we have said we should have won, but we didn't. It should be overturned, but it won't.
Neither this thread, nor the thread asking about who deserves to claim victory more between UCF and Arkansas were actually started by Arkansas fans.
Link an Arkansas fan "pleading" with someone to award us a win, please. It has happened at least once that I've seen

Aubie with a young team had 4 defensive starters out and 2 out on offense ( I’m sure some of you critics will google for accuracy) 3 more banged up during the game not to mention the arse whipping the week before from Hairy Dawg. Mostly freshmen, sophomores. Couple that with the ineptitude of Gus/Chad not allowing the “much improved Nix” the ability to check off and change blocking schemes at the line of scrimmage with a pitiful excuse for a line..... Aubie plays South Carolina and Tusk plays Johnny Reb, Black Bear, Landsharks next week.Take the win for Godsakes, take that nasty arse stinking game, shut up and move on! Hell, Terry Bowden was 4-2 against you.,I’m just pissed you didn’t take that clown back with you.
