Not too mention the 10th best Pass eff. defense in the nation which is good for 4th in the SEC before Saturday.

Okay, but let's look at the strength of the passing offenses you have faced so far.

Memphis - #59
Southeastern LA - #8 ...in the FCS
South Carolina - #62
Vanderbilt - #112
Alabama - #76
UAB - #116

Arkansas - #12, and we have faced the #1 and #2 ranked defenses in BOTH Total Defense and Pass Efficiency Defense

So we'll see how you do on Saturday.

Schedules don't matter that much, each weekend something new happens. That's why we love this game.

I still think Snead is a decent QB and there are definite opportunities for OM to pass on AR with the deep ball. Yesterday was another example of giving up a huge play to the deep pass.

I know a lot of my fellow Hog fans are confident we'll win, I wish I shared that confidence. This is almost a must win for OM, I expect them to show up.

I hope our team shows up too.

I never said the Arkansas D was in control. All i said was that our D stopped (for the most part) Bama's rush offfense. We held them to around -100 off their average.

The reason i keyed in on rush defense, is because that is what was inferred earlier when someone said "I think Ole Miss matches up well with Arkansas becasue Ole Miss can run it at them". I was just using the stats to support my argument, something you fail to realize. We have held 2 Top 10 rushing/game teams (Bama and Florida) to around -100 of their average.

So using the "Ole Miss will run all over you" attack is irrelevant.

Has nothing to do with Ole Miss running over anyone. My point is that the offense Ole Miss runs is completely different than any the Hogs has played lately. And there is a weakness to the run game if they decide to go after Bequette. Remember each team brings different mismatches, and with the knowldege Markusson has on the D-Line, I think it will be a heavy does of run.

I expect our offense to put up a lot of points. Florida had a good defense.

Ole Miss takes in on a controversial call by the refs. They give Ole Miss 5 downs to make a first down and them give the Rebs a favorable spot on fifth down to keep a drive going with under a minute to play. Rebs score as time runs out. Petrino interviews at Notre Dame the next afternoon......
