FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas will look to get back to its winning ways on Tuesday (Feb. 12) when the Razorbacks play at Missouri. Game time is set for 8 pm and the game will be telecast on ESPNU.

quote:

This will be the 51st meeting between Arkansas and Missouri — and the second time this season as the Razorbacks claimed a 70-62 victory over the Tigers last month to start a four-game SEC winning streak. Arkansas owns a 27-23 advantage in the series. Mizzou owns a 14-10 advantage in games played in Columbia

quote:

Since Missouri joined the SEC for the 2012 season, Arkansas holds an 8-5 advantage over the span. The teams have split home-and-home series each of the last two years, but Arkansas has won seven of the last nine, including five straight from 2015-17.

-Dating back to Jan. 15 (at Tennessee), Arkansas is closing a nine-game span that includes six road games (at then #3 Tennessee, at then #18 Ole Miss, at then #13 Texas Tech, at then #19 LSU, at South Carolina Saturday and at Missouri Tuesday).

-The Razorbacks are one of two teams in the league to finish .500 or better in SEC play each of the last six years. However, Arkansas will close the regular season with home game in each of the final four Saturdays (Mississippi State on Feb. 16, Texas A&M on Feb. 23, Ole Miss on Mar. 2 and Alabama on Mar. 9 for the regular-season finale).

-Daniel Gafford, one of 10 candidates for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award, is one of five players in the NCAA to shoot 60 percent from the field while averaging over 15 points and eight rebounds. Others include Eric Carter (Delaware), Matt Rafferty (Furman), Raasean Davis (NC Central) and Zion Williamson (Duke).

-Arkansas forced 21 turnovers at South Carolina and only committed 14. It was the first time this season the Razorbacks committed fewer than 15 turnovers and lost (9-1). Over the last six games, Arkansas has forced 20-plus turnovers four times. On offense over the last six games, Arkansas is only turning the ball over 13.0 times, including a season-low four versus Georgia.

-Isaiah Joe has made 82 3-pointers with the Arkansas record by a freshman being 83 by Rotnei Clarke in 2009.

- When Mason Jones nailed a 3-pointer for Arkansas’ first points at South Carolina Saturday, it marked the 1,000th consecutive game the Razorbacks have made at least one 3-pointer.

• The Razorbacks own the fifth-longest streak in the NCAA for consecutive games with a 3-pointer made (through Saturday).
1. UNLV 1,068
2. Vanderbilt 1,054
3. Duke 1,044
4. Western Kentucky 1,001
5. Arkansas 1,000
• The last time the Razorbacks were shutout was an 0-for-2 outing at Texas on Jan. 7, 1989. After that, the current streak began when Keith Wilson hit a trey versus TCU on Jan. 11, 1989.

• UNLV and Vanderbilt have made a 3-pointer in every game since the NCAA adopted the rule (as has Princeton, but the Tigers have only played 925 games). Kentucky is the only other team to make a 3-pointer in over 1,000 games. However, the Wildcats’ streak ended last March at 1,047 games.

• Isaiah Joe is going into the record books as he is on pace to set two school records, an SEC record and could have one of the top 5 freshman seasons in NCAA history.

• RECORD WATCH 1: Joe has made 82 3-pointers with the Arkansas record by a freshman being 83 by Rotnei Clarke in
2009.

• RECORD WATCH 2: With 9 guaranteed games left (8 regular season and 1 SEC tourney), Joe is currently on pace to
finish with 114 3-pointers made this season. The Arkansas record for 3’s made in a season is 102 by Scotty Thurman in 1994-95.

• RECORD WATCH 3: At Joe’s current on pace of finishing with 114 3-pointers made, he would become the SEC freshman
leader for 3-pointers made. The current record is 113 by Kentucky’ Jamal Murray (2015-16).

• RECORD WATCH 4: Murray currently stands third on the NCAA list for 3-pointers made in a season by a freshman. Stephen Curry (Davidson) is the NCAA freshman leader for 3’s made in a season with 122 in 2006-07.
NOTE: This year’s NCAA leader in 3’s made Antoine Davis of Detroit Mercy is a freshman with 108 3-pointers
made.

Let me tell you what's going to happen. We are going to get a double-digit lead, clicking on all cylinders, and then with about 15 minutes in the game, we will suddenly forget how to play, turn the ball over, make silly fouls, and miss every shot we put up.

That is exactly what we have done the last three games

We were just very lucky to win 2 out of those 3

We can do that too- see South Carolina or we can be on the opposite end. We like to keep it surprising.

Hell, we did that exact thing against USCe last Saturday.

Should be a barn-burner

They should bill this game like an old time pro wrestling match. "One Team Must Win!"

I lean towards Arkansas to win, but no lead is safe for either of these two teams.

People, listen, I have said this before, that was just a handful of people. Most around here are not that way and feel those people are crazy.

Heck, President Trump won the state by nearly 20 points...we can't all be protesters or SJW...I promise I'm not.
