Stranger things have happened and y’all winning wouldn’t be shocking but I would be surprised if you won by 14.

Interesting matchup.
Arkansas has been on of the best defensive teams thus far...particularly in guarding the 3. On the flip side, LSU is one of the best offensive teams in the country and doesn't really do much of their damage from the 3 point line (#4 in the country in 2 pt FG %). Neither team has a particularly big frontcourt, but they have several guys in the 6'3 to 6'7 range who are pretty versatile players.
IMO, if Arkansas wins it will be because they were able to knock down 3's (which LSU doesn't defend very well) and bait LSU into taking too many 3's (which LSU doesn't shoot very well)
If LSU wins it will be because they attacked the rim all night and scored in the paint (which LSU does very well) and owned the offensive glass (which LSU does well)

How tf is LSU a 73.8% favorite. I get that we’re not super battle tested but that is way too high

If I had to guess, I'd say:
1. It's a home game for LSU. The PMAC isn't a particularly hostile venue these days NOR has Ark. shown it can't win in a tough place (see Indiana), but home court advantage is greatest in CBB
2. Arkansas's biggest strength, defending the 3, isn't that big of an advantage vs. LSU since LSU doesn't want to shoot many 3's anyway.
3. Arkansas's weakness is their offensive efficiency. LSU's biggest weakness it their defensive efficiency. Thus, the two weaknesses seem to cancel each other out.
4. Personnel-wise it appears LSU can match Arkansas's 4-5 guard lineups because while LSU doesn't have two 6'10+ players like last year, they have 9 guys in the 6'4 - 6'9 range who can guard multiple positions.
That's not to say Arkansas can't or won't win. Or that the % won't be heavily in Arkansas's favor in the game in BWA, just that on paper Arkansas's advantages don't seem to be as favorable vs. this LSU team as they are against other lineups

I do think LSU is starting to turn things around and y'all have the talent to make a good run in the SEC. I think Arkansas is playing better as a team but winning at LSU is not something we are spectacular at.
If I had to make a guess, and it is a guess given that I think the two teams are fairly even, I think one of the Arkansas bombers gets hot and drops in enough 3 pointers to squeeze out a close win.
That having been said I could see LSU taking advantage of one of the many Arkansas offensive cold spells to build up a big enough cushion to hold on for a win.
It will be an interesting match up between two teams I think will make the NCAA tourney if they play the way they can the rest of the season.

I get that, I think Arkansas pulls away late and wins by 11. It should be a good game, there is no way LSU wins by 14 though. Also, y’all won’t dominate us in rebounding like that dude thinks y’all will.
