It's very simple: All Melvin Watkins has to do to end the curse is to STOP TAKING CREDIT FOR "REBUILDING A&M BASKETBALL".

In his official bio, he actually takes credit for what Gillispie did.

Yeah that is a little excessive ... I understand that he recruited the Key players in BCGs teams (Acie, JoJo, Kirk) but he couldn't put together a successful season to save his life (or career I guess)

He even takes credit for Wright and Law being 1st round picks.

Antoine Wright under Watkins:

PPG: 14.0
RPG: 5.4
APG: 2.1
FT%: 62.0%
FG%: 36.6%

Antoine Wright under Gillispie:

PPG: 17.8
RPG: 6.0
APG: 2.2
FT%: 69.1%
FG%: 50.1%

I am looking more at 2 years vs 1 year and throwing poor Melvin a bone.

Antoine's FG%, PPG, and FT% went up dramatically between his sophomore and junior seasons.

All Melvin needs to admit is that it took a better coach than him to turn A&M around and the curse will likely end.
