And just how you don't beat out Texas and A&M for TX kids, you don't really beat out other state schools for their kids (which is what my post alluded to).

See, no disconnect.

But we still always beat you.

Congrats on your recruiting wins and moral victories, though.

I certainly don't think that is the case. It is more they have to loudcap someone and since the two teams they are "nipping on the heels of" blew their doors off, they are picking the next biggest dog to bark at. TAMU for the next year will have to hear about how failship has one x of the last y games and that Arkansas is about to welcome them to another decade of irrelevance and Petrino is some Lombardi-Parcells-Saban-Belichick hybrid genius.

That is, if this past year on the SECr is the blueprint going forward.

Cobi Hamilton agrees.

We have done well in Oklahoma, Missouri, and out west in getting players the home team wanted...

I'm not sure if we'll win an SEC championship anytime soon, but here is the scoreboard since Arkansas joined 20 years ago:

1992 - Alabama (Arkansas and South Carolina join; championship game starts.)
1993 - Florida
1994 - Florida
1995 - Florida
1996 - Florida
1997 - Tennessee
1998 - Tennessee
1999 - Alabama
2000 - Florida
2001 - LSU
2002 - Georgia
2003 - LSU
2004 - Auburn
2005 - Georgia
2006 - Florida
2007 - LSU
2008 - Florida
2009 - Alabama
2010 - Auburn
2011 - LSU

I guess A&M and Mizzou are 2 new fanbases you can legitimately talk shite to right now, since we have 0 SEC championships in the last 20 years as well?

Oh, hats off to Petrino. He's consistently wining despite the fact that the big time kids go elsewhere.

Dammit, Dale, you left your reading comprehension skills at the house again. I said with "some exceptions." Is your friend there the lone exception this year?

Thread started by an LSU fan results in Arkansas and A&M fans going at it.

Internet is fun.

I just assumed that was the whole point of the original post when I dived in for a little break from work.

No, there is this receiver who Texas and OU wants and who aTm faps at the idea of him telling them "Hi", which of course gets fantasized about being "Howdy, would you like to elephant walk?"

In all seriousness, we're just thrilled to be a part of this conference and be affiliated with all of these great fan bases. Hats off to you guys.

No clue. I opened it, saw who started it, read the next two pages and saw nothing but Arky and A&M fans bickering back and forth.

It made me chuckle. Like a perfectly placed bomb.

Look, the facts are facts and you guys have the clear edge in the series. But let's not pretend Arky's potential and resources are comparable. If I sound arrogant, I'm sorry. It's just that Texas A&M shouldn't really ever lose in anything (athletically or otherwise) to an Arkansas.

Arkansas vs. aTm in 2 major sports

FOOTBALL
Arkansas leads 40-24-3

BASKETBALL
Arkansas leads 94-53-0

Combined Total: Arkansas leads 134-77-3

Yep, you're an aTm fan.

Knile Davis-offer from aTm
David Gordon-offers from aTm, OU, OSU
Cobi Hamilton-offer from Texas
Colton Nash-offer from aTm
Jatashun Beachum-offer from aTm
Tevin Mitchel-offer from aTm
Andrew Peterson-offer from aTm

yep, we never beat out aTm for any kids.
