plus Alabama wanted to rest Mac and Devonta, lessen the likelihood of an injury for them, and get the young running backs some live game experience.

But I don't think we ever quit, which is a big step up from last year. Without any stretching,and even with our toughest schedule ever (tougher than yours, btw), we could have been a 6 win team. 6 wins doesn't sound like much to you, I know - but from where we've been the last few years, it's a damn good move forward. We made a good move with Pitt.
