I wanted the players to be paid, but it has caused this piece meal changing picture every year which kinda sucks. They need to quit half-stepping and get an NFL-like model together quickly.

Yes, because it's not going to happen the way you word it. The new division or conference will take big name non-SEC/Big 10 teams like FSU, ND, etc

I never implied that wouldn’t happen. But teams like Wake Forest, Kansas St, TCU, Texas Tech, etc will be left out.

Players should be on contracts so they cannot change teams every year.

They'll do it if it gives them a bigger television contract. Absolutely.

You pretend to have a more certain understanding than you actually do. Some of this we'll have to see how it plays out. It's fine to speculate about what could happen, but you act as if you can see into the future in ways you cannot.

That's true, but so will teams like Rutgers and Vanderbilt.
