I’d put Dodd in over Urban Meyer and Pat Dye

Wally Butts probably deserves to be on this list - 4 SEC titles and 1 Natty (probably deserves 2 nattys)

I would not. For two reasons:

1) Urban Meyer: introduced the spread offense to the SEC and changed the CFB narrative by beginning the SEC's long run of dominance over the sport.

2) Pat Dye: completely changed the culture of Auburn Football. Prior to his arrival on the Plains, the program was something of a joke. He turned them into one of the top programs in the country in the 1980s and even surpassed big brother for much of his tenure there.

Very good coach but only 2 SEC titles despite having lots of advantages at the time and never reached the same heights after he lost his 2 best assistants...Frank Broyles to Arkansas and Ray Graves
to Florida.
