I was referring to the 2018 Outback Bowl. Although we did knock Harbaugh into next year.

Sorry, but we do not have a more heated history in football with UNC and NCSU. That is nuts. I for one do consider Georgia a huge rival, right up there with Clemson. I have been watching these games for over 30 years. Most of our best seasons have occurred when we have been able to beat Georgia.

We have good seasons when we perform well in the East, not just against UGA. What is so special about them other than we played before we joined?

Agree here.
I'm from NC, the rivalries with UNC/NCSU are a thing of the past. We barely play them anymore. I can tell you that they really don't care about us unless we're playing them. I know some of them who actually enjoy coming to USC games because it's SEC football.
UGA is our 2nd biggest rival.

I consider us to have 1 rival. If I had to pick a second, I’d say UNC. We literally left a conference to get away from their cheating ways.
I don’t look at Georgia any differently than I do Tennessee or Florida. The only reason we even talk about them more is because they’re usually the first big SEC game on our schedule where as UF and UT are later in the year.

We played UGA and Ole Miss a lot in the 70s and 80s pre-SEC.
Matter of fact I do believe the 65 games played between UGA and SC is one of the more played games in the conference. Meaning, we've played one another a lot more times than many of the other programs in the conference.
Georgia and Bama played their 66th game in the national championship this past season.
UGA vs UT ... 46 games.
UGA vs Ole Miss ... 46.
UGA vs MSU ... 26.
UGA vs LSU ... 30.
UGA vs KY ... 71.
UGA vs Vandy ... 74.
UGA vs UF ... 96.
UGA vs Auburn ... 114.

Who cares. We left on our own. We weren't kicked out. It was our big mistake at the time. But, that is of no concern to us anymore. That grudge for me has ended.
