quote:This is exactly the reason I say I don't want their support. Think about it, these people hate us soo much that they root for us to lose pretty much any time we play anyone. Think about how hard they will be rooting for us to lose to Texas and how much emotion they will put into it. Then think about the sorrow and disappointment they will once again suffer because of their hatred for Alabama. It will be the 14th time this year that they will have a big pit in their soul that nothing will fill and it will be that way for another whole year. Thinking about it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
hopefully not, would be nice to see yall wrong again.

Tough decision. On one hand, I really like the guys and the bond they seem to have on the Tide team and would like to see them do well. On the other hand, the internet Tide fanbase is made up of about 75% dipshit frickwads, and I'd like to see some tears.

I have to say, I was pretty happy when Auburn was left out of the NC game. I pretended to have sympathy for my Auburn friends, but I had none.
This is the correct way of thinking. Why does Bama, or any other team's fanbase (and I am including Auburn), get all needy at Bowl time? There almost seems to be a need for validation from your opponents. It's as if an LSU fan tells you that they want your team to win, it makes everyone feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Well, that's just crazy talk Sponge Bob.
Don't you people know what's best in life? To crush your enemies, to drive them before you and to hear the lamentations of their women. frick your enemy, their pain and/or humiliation should warm the cockles of your heart. Take pleasure from their misery, and lament their victories.

Are any Auburn fans pulling for Bama
Screw the Im pulling for all SEC teams crap.
Seeing as how Bama is the SEC and pretty much responsible for making the SEC what it is today...I can see why other SEC rivals wouldn't pull for Bama. But hey, it's all good. We'll survive with our without your support. That's why we're ALABAMA. It's what we do.

This is pretty damn dumb. Let me tell you the mindset of most Aubies (including me). We want Bama to lose and will always pull against them in anything. So, I will pull for Texas in the BCS game. That said, if Bama wins, it is no big deal and I will not really care. Another MNC for the SEC is good and Texas is the Big 12, so who really cares. I'll watch the game, but won't really have strong feelings one way or the other, because Bama just isn't that important to me. Sure I hope they lose, if they do not, I don't really give a shite either.
Go Texas, Go SEC, etc. Of all the bowl games the SEC plays in, I will be "rooting" the least amount in the Bama-UT game one way or the other. I am primarily concerned with AU winning first, then the rest of the SEC. Bama is some little communist country that the rest of the SEC has to tolerate, so they can do whatever they want and I can look at the result in whatever way makes me happy in this game.

I have to be honest... As much as I love the SEC I absolutely CANNOT pull for Alabama regardless of the situation. My blood runs burnt orange and navy blue. I can't stand anything related to that university, much less their sidewalk alum fanbase. I am so proud to be an alumni of Auburn University. Nothing personal to the University of Alabama, but it is simply not a part of me or who I am. Therefore, I can't support them in any shape, form, or fashion.

As happy as Auburn has been to point out the past decade how much Bama sucked...I can't believe any Bama fan would care one bit what a Barner thinks.
