APOLOGY FROM A UT FAN

Just so you guys know, from the Vol Nation, we truly apologize for any disrespect and problems we have cause over the last year. We let our love for Tennessee football coincide with defending a kid who should only be in charge of his lego's.
I can't even remember a time in UT football history that we ever took the attitude that Lane Kiffin came to Rocky Top with. We were so used to defending our pride and university so much that we let a kid sell himself to us and then present ourselves among our rivals and the country as something that UT football or SEC football is not about.
I don't expect any of the flames or anything to stop but I can tell you right now that UT fans have disrespected the SEC in allowing a kid to coach one of the prestigious programs in a prestigious conference and all of us truly regret that decision and hope that UT will rejoin our top dogs (AL, LSU, UF) at the top of the nation as we continue to keep it in the family.

I HATED Kiffin, but not UT and its fans (I still hate "Rocky Top song
) This too shall pass. No matter how tough the chemo is, its better to be rid of that cancer.

We all understand this is one poster express his own ideas. We did not think you all got together and registered as ONE user to express the consensus thoughts of an entire fanbase.

I think it's safe to say that you feel the same way just about every UT fan feels. In that now we see why everyone in the SEC (and Al Davis) hated him while he was here. Agree? Disagree?
