Rankings don’t matter. You still have to go through the best teams to be the best.
Well, true unless you’re Notre Dame.

Definitely overrated at #1 but voters want to make the loss look better for OSU so not surprised.

Nothing?
Did you have a drunken blackout during the first half of our last two games?

Oregon is falling faster than Phil Knight's stock portfolio.
I still think the Boise State close win isn't a bad look. I had Boise State in my preseason top 25 and I still think they're a good team and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they made the CFP in the Non-P4 slot. But the Oklahoma State loss was bad. Like, really bad. They were gifted 14 points of turnovers, and they should've lost by 3 TD's at the very least.

It's easy to make fun of ND, but Miami's schedule is actually much worse than theirs. As it stands right now, ND is slated to play 3 top 25 opponents. Miami is slated to only play 1, which is ND, and that's not until November. Miami's 2nd toughest game is Clemson, who is atrocious.

Right now, I haven't seen anything about our team that makes me think we are a top 10 team.

Oregon being ranked is a joke
Klatt said today that Oregon could be this year's version of 2025 Clemson and Penn State. Clemson and Penn State both made the 2024 CFP and returned a lot of production. They invested a lot in NIL so they could retain the majority of their 2024 production, yet they flopped in 2025. A lot of players on this year's Oregon team would be in the NFL if it wasn't for NIL, and they retained a lot of them.
