Texas vs Tennessee is one of the weirdest games we'll see all year - period. They had 10 sacks. We had 6 sacks. And both team's offensive numbers reflect that.
This game set the modern record for most sacks in a game at 16 total.
When a game produces historic numbers it is by definition an outlier.

And honestly I hated it. I would rather watch a shootout and bitch about awful defense. I mean I am glad we have a great DL but good got-dayum.

The shorthorns were ripe for the taking. You had everything you needed but a seasoned QB. That true freshman just wasn't ready to figure out the defense.

Heupel has shown he can create offense at Tennessee. The narrative ought to be Tennessee has a good defense and the offense isnt ready but Heupel is more equipped to fix the offense than defense. Either way its too early in the season still to know. Hell we might lose to Auburn and Heup loses the fanbase

Pretty much. It was a missed opportunity but asking a true frosh to do that in his first conference game is a ridiculous ask. I still think our OL is shaky af. I think they'll be 'ok' against most teams but they will struggle/be outright bad against anyone with a good DL.
Brandon can either grow up quickly or slowly. That part is unknown. I think he'll be better in other conference games but there are going to be times when his lack of experience gets exposed.
